Window cleaning in Texas City
The best window cleaning you’ve ever had, or it’s free.
Bay salt off the Dike, refinery haze on a still morning and oak pollen in the older streets. Mainland glass gets dirty in its own way, and we keep it clear on a set neighborhood day, inside and out.
Now booking. Serving Texas City and La Marque, TX 77590, 77591 and 77568.
What Texas City does to a window
Texas City and La Marque sit on the mainland side of Galveston Bay, across the causeway from the island, and the salt here comes off the bay instead of the Gulf. The homes along Bay Street, around Moses Lake and out toward the Texas City Dike get a steady bay spray on a southeast breeze, and the haze on the east-facing glass builds within a few weeks. Further inland, along Palmer Highway, FM 1764 and the Gulf Freeway, the salt drops off and something else takes over: on a still morning the refinery haze settles as a fine gray film that shows on the glass as soon as the sun comes around.
The older neighborhoods on both sides of the city line sit under live oaks and pecans, and every March the pollen and catkins come down on screens, porches and the shaded north-facing windows, which stay damp enough for mildew most of the year. Along Highland Bayou in La Marque and around Carbide Park the bayou humidity makes it worse. The newer subdivisions, Lago Mar off the freeway and the streets filling in along FM 1764, run irrigation on hard water, and the overspray leaves a band of mineral spots along the lower panes. The canal homes in Omega Bay get the bay version of the problem, with spray on the water-side sliders every windy afternoon.
A quarterly plan suits most Texas City and La Marque homes, with the inside glass done once a year, and many customers add a spring visit to catch the pollen. Waterfront homes on Moses Lake, in Omega Bay and along Bay Street sometimes go to every two months, and homes closest to the plants often do the same so the gray film never gets a chance to bond to the glass. We work the Texas City side and the La Marque side on their own days, know the HOA rules in Lago Mar, and send a text the morning of each visit so nobody has to wait at home.

Texas City window cleaning questions
How much does window cleaning cost in Texas City?
First-clean pricing varies by home size and service package. A first cleaning, inside and out, is $259 for a home up to 2,000 square feet, $329 for 2,000 to 3,500 square feet, and $429 for larger homes on our Silver package. After that, a quarterly maintenance plan runs $60, $77, or $100 a month for those same home sizes. Oceanfront and riverfront estates get a custom quote.
How often should windows be cleaned in Texas City and La Marque?
Quarterly keeps the pollen, mildew and refinery film under control for most mainland homes in Texas City and La Marque. Waterfront homes on Moses Lake, in Omega Bay and along Bay Street pick up bay salt faster and do better every two months. Most people have the inside glass done once a year.
Can you get the gray refinery film off the glass?
Yes. The film that settles on the east-facing windows near the plants is oily and smears if it is wiped dry, but it comes off cleanly with our regular wash. On a plan we get to it before it bonds to the glass, which is what keeps the windows looking clear between visits.
Can you remove the sprinkler spots in Lago Mar and the newer subdivisions?
In most cases, yes. Mineral spots from hard-water irrigation need a dedicated treatment rather than regular cleaning. Tell us about them on the quote form and we will look at them on the first visit.
